About ITV Studio Sessions
ITV Sessions is a brand new ad-funded music show made in association with Priority from O2 for ITVX and ITV1. Commissioned for ITVX the whole 6 part series has dropped as a box set on ITVX and was then broadcast on 6 consecutive Friday nights at 10.45pm on ITV1.
Hosted by Clara Amfo, one of music’s most celebrated broadcasters and podcasters, the show champions great names in music and showcases exciting rising talent.
Artists in this series included Jess Glynne, Tom Walker, YUNGBLUD, Brits Rising Star nominee, Sekou, Becky Hill and Cat Burns.
Each half hour show features one music artist who performs four stripped back tracks. It is filmed at the Blue Room an intimate and immersive space inside the O2 in Greenwich. In between the performances Clara interviews each artist about their careers, their hopes and inspirations. The shows are filmed in front of a small and specially invited audience at this special venue.

This new ad funded 6 part music series ITV Studio Sessions is made in association with Priority from O2 for ITVX and ITV1.
Hosted by Clara Amfo the series is filmed in front of a specially invited audience from inside the O2 in a VIP space called the Blue Room. The series welcomed and showcased a range of artists including Becky Hill, Tom Walker, Cat Burns, YUNGBLUD, Brits Rising Star nominee Sekou and Jess Glynne.
They also performed a greatest hit, two new tracks and a song they wished they had recorded themselves. Becky Hill performed a slow tempo version of the The Shapeshifters ‘Lola’s Theme’, Jess Glynne chose Janis Joplin’s ‘Piece of My Heart’, Tom Walker picked Kenya Grace’s ‘Strangers’ and both Sekou and Cat Burns proved themselves to be Fleetwood Mac fans with Cat performing ‘Sweet Dreams’ and Sekou taking on ‘Songbird’.
In between the music Clara chatted to them about the realities of life in the spotlight, their passions, ambitions and guilty pleasures. As a result, the stars revealed a range of stories about their lives growing up, special relationships, tales of the tougher side of the music business through to revelations about enjoying 5 hour baths and binge watching Geordie Shore!
