Junior Researchers

Lifted Entertainment (Part of ITV Studios) are looking for Junior Researchers to join the team on University Challenge.

Location: MediaCityUK

Role: We’re looking for Junior Researchers to support our Questions and Casting teams in delivering brilliant questions and exceptional contestants for University Challenge. You’ll write original question material, help develop picture and music rounds, support casting and contestant welfare, and play a key role throughout the production process.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria) – please evidence these in your application:
 Excellent research skills and experience writing original question material with accuracy, creativity and flair – this will be tested during the recruitment process.
 A strong understanding of University Challenge’s format, style and question content, backed by excellent general knowledge.
 Experience presenting written work, responding to editorial feedback and working with accuracy and attention to detail.
 Experience supporting people in a public-facing, educational or pastoral setting, with an understanding of contestant welfare and safeguarding.
 Good organisational skills, with experience keeping accurate records and an awareness of copyright, alongside confidence using presentation, image and music editing software.
