Thrills, Spills and Sequins is the name of the game for the greatest show on ice.

About Dancing On Ice

Over 200 celebrities have thrown caution to the wind and competed in the most thrilling entertainment series on TV with some even conquering their fears to pull off a backflip, a scorpion kick and even the dreaded head-banger.

They have also flown across the ice, played with fire and skated the Bolero all in a bid to pull off the most show-stopping performances and impress skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and the ice panel. But it’s ultimately the viewers at home who decide who lifts the coveted trophy at the end of each series.

Series 16

The 16th series of Dancing on Ice saw 11 celebrities brave the ice to compete for the coveted trophy and impress judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse, and Ashley Banjo, as well as the viewers who had the final say.

The cast included Claire Sweeney, Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford, Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, Eddie the Eagle, Love Island’s Amber Davies, Hannah Spearritt, professional boxer Ricky Hatton, comedian Lou Sanders, Adele Roberts, Roxy Shahidi, and Ricky Norwood.

Over the nine weeks of live shows, which aired every Sunday night on ITV1 for 90 minutes, Miles Nazaire and Ryan Thomas made it through to the final two, taking on the ultimate test. But it was Ryan Thomas and his partner Amani Fancy who were crowned champions and became the 16th celebrity to lift the Dancing on Ice trophy.

The series celebrated the incredible talents of both the celebrities and the professional skaters, including returning stars like Mark Hanretty and new faces like Amani Fancy. It also marked the emotional retirement of skating legends Torvill and Dean, who left a lasting legacy after 50 years in the sport.
